St. Charles Festivals
From Spring thru Fall, there always seems to be a festival going on in St. Charles.
- St. Patrick’s Day Parade- (mid-March) No, they don’t dye the Fox River green like they do in that City 35 miles to the east!
- St. Charles Fine Art Show- (late May) Local and national artists displaying artwork in partnership with downtown businesses. Artwork includes photography, ceramics, glass, painting and jewelry. Live jazz music downtown is provided.
- Pride of the Fox / Riverfest- (early June) Celebrating the Fox River with water ski shows, sand sculptures, live bands, a dog agility competition and the always fun Dragon Boat races
- Kane County Fair- (July) A look at Kane County’s agricultural heritage. Attractions include live music and exhibitions from the local 4-H group
- Scarecrow Festival- (Mid-Fall) The biggest festival in St. Charles. Noted by MSN.com in 2009 as one of the nation’s top spots for autumn. 200+ handmade scarecrows are displayed in Lincoln Park on the west side of downtown
- Holiday Homecoming- (November) Celebrate the “miracle on 64th street” with an electric parade, tree lighting and a visit by Santa himself
